Notre Dame Folk Choir Concert Benefits Holy Cross International Missions

October 7, 2015

The University of Notre Dame Folk Choir will have its twenty-second-annual Concert for the Missions at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, according to Rev. Michael DeLaney, C.S.C., director of the Holy Cross Mission Center.

The annual concert benefits the mission work of the Congregation of Holy Cross in East Africa, Latin America, and Bangladesh. The concert coincides with the weekend’s promotion of Holy Cross missions during all masses at Notre Dame.

Funds raised from this year’s event, as well as World Mission Sunday appeals at the Basilica, will go toward educating children and young adults who are among the world’s poorest in Uganda, Peru, Chile, and Bangladesh.
