Charles K. Wilber

Charles K. Wilber is the emeritus professor of economics at the University of Notre Dame and a fellow of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. He served as economic adviser to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for their 1986 pastoral letter, Economic Justice for All. Wilber has written or edited over a dozen books and published numerous articles, including several in National Catholic Reporter, Commonweal, Preach, and America. He has been married to Mary Ellen Wilber for over fifty years. Together they have long been active in faith sharing groups such as the Christian Family Movement, and have raised seven children.
