New Ave Explores Considers the Link Between Faith and Science

The next Ave Explores series will focus on the connection between faith and science. It will begin April 21, 2021. Ave Explores is a free educational series created to help Catholics consider aspects of our faith from a variety of angles, allowing us to look at topics that are relevant to our daily spiritual lives in fresh, engaging, and practical ways. It’s everyday faith for everyday Catholics. The series is also perfect for seekers and those who want to learn more about the Catholic faith. The Church has always been a strong advocate for science. Ave Explores: Faith and Science will consider the relationship between belief in God and trust in scientific principles and study by examining how science and the faith work together to reveal truth. Through this four-week, multimedia series, you will learn from experts in the fields of bioethics, astronomy, aerospace, climate science, ecology, theology, and apologetics. You will also meet a new saint-scientist each week through art and the written word. Catch a sneak preview to Ave Explores: Faith and Science, with a special edition of the Ave Explores podcast on April 14. Katie Prejean McGrady will talk with Brandon Vogt, senior content director at Word on Fire Catholic Ministries and author of What to Say and How to Say It, Volumes 1 and 2. The Ave Explores podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Play Music, and is also located on Breadbox Media, Redeemer Radio, and Spoke Street Media.
