Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR, is the president of Franciscan University of Steubenville. He has held numerous pastoral, leadership, and administrative positions while directing campaigns to expand the university’s enrollment, degree programs, and evangelistic outreach.
Pivonka earned a bachelor’s degree in theology from Franciscan University and holds advanced degrees in theology and a doctorate in education, with a focus on Catholic education in a postmodern world.
He has authored eight books, created The Wild Goose video series, hosts Franciscan University Presents on EWTN, and preaches at events nationwide, including retreats, workshops, pilgrimages, parish missions, and Franciscan University’s Youth and Adult Conferences.
Pivonka resides in Steubenville, Ohio.
