Marge Steinhage Fenelon is an award-winning Catholic author, international speaker, retreat leader, Certified Professional Life Coach, Strengths Champion Certified Coach, and Certified Brain Profiler. She is qualified in emotional intelligence, CliftonStrengths, temperaments, and charisms and serves as an instructor for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Office of Diaconate Formation.
Fenelon has written several books on Marian devotion, including Imitating Mary. The bestselling Our Lady, Undoer of Knots received an Association of Catholic Publishers Excellence in Publishing Award, and My Queen, My Mother earned a Catholic Media Award.
Fenelon earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in public relations from the University of Wisconsin and a certificate in spiritual mentoring from Cardinal Stritch University. She also completed an intensive training program for foreign journalists offered by the Pontifical University of Holy Cross in conjunction with the Vatican Dicastery for Communication in Rome. In 2014, she traveled to the Holy Land with the Catholic Press Association during Pope Francis’s historic pilgrimage. She received the Egan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence in 2015 and traveled to the Philippines to report on reconstruction efforts following Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). In 2016, she participated in the Jordan Tourism Board’s religious journalist and blogger tour, writing about Jordan as the “other Holy Land.”
Fenelon also holds a certificate in Marian studies from the International Marian Research Institute. She is a member of the Mariological Society of America, the Communion of Catholic Coaches, Catholic Life Coaches, the Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Network, and the Catholic Writers Guild.
She and her husband are consecrated members of the International Apostolic Schoenstatt Apostolic Family Federation. They live in Wisconsin with their family.
