
Timothy Clayton
Timothy Clayton is the rector of Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church on the Boston North Shore. He grew up in the Charlotte area and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He spent time teaching English in Budapest, Hungary, and later graduated with high honors from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Clayton has founded a Christian community in Portland, Maine, and a church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has led missions and spiritual pilgrimages to more than a dozen countries on five continents. So far his favorite places on earth are Lindisfarne, Durham Cathedral in England, and the Masai Mara in Kenya. Clayton resides near his church with his wife and three children.
