Zeni V. Fox

Zeni V. Fox is a professor of pastoral theology at Seton Hall University. A primary area of interest for Fox is the emerging phenomenon of lay ecclesial ministry (professionals serving in areas of leadership in parishes, dioceses, and institutions) in the Church in the United States. As an advisor to the United States Bishops’ Committee on the Laity and Subcommittee on Lay Ministry since 1995, Fox has participated in consultations with diverse Church representatives, including canonists, diocesan leaders, leaders of lay organizations and theologians, from this country and beyond. Her books, articles, frequent lecturing, and teaching have focused to a great extent in this area.
