There is no shortage of beautiful places where Catholics can encounter the universal culture, beauty, and treasures of the Faith. From a shrine just down the road to the sites where Our Lady has appeared, holy places around the world invite us to pause, pray, and discover anew what it means to believe and live the Catholic faith.

In this Ave Explores series, Katie McGrady and special guests explore what it means to have a pilgrim’s heart as they virtually visit some of the holiest places in the Catholic world, both close to home and far away. Along the way, they uncover the stories, traditions, and faith that make these places sacred and remind us that we are, quite literally, a pilgrim Church on earth.
