We as a group of Women from my parish got together each week during lent, We broke out into little groups and we would use the book and the guide to discuss the weeks prayer and meditation how it touched or moved us within ourselves. The book really helps the reader to rend their hearts. The way that the book/writer blended the psychological and spiritual reflections as one was very beneficial and impacting for myself. I felt like I was on a guided journey with prayer and healing and restoration. I felt a closeness with God that I was lacking. Doing this within a group of ladies was a great help also to listen to the groups insight and words that only added and aided in the renewal in myself with healing, drawing me closer to God.
