I actually bought this for my die hard non-Catholic Notra Dame son, who is also an âelderâ in his little church! But I had to read it because I thought I needed to know what I was giving him. I very much appreciated the practice the priest does with the team and the other students and how he included others as well. His stories were very spiritually inspiring and mostly to the point. It was a pleasant read. I am still waiting to hear from my son!

Father Nateâs book is a âTouchdown â ! I gifted this book to my Grandson Nate at Christmas !
My Granson is in the ACE program through ND and is teaching in Baltimore Maryland at The Mother Mary

It is such an uplifting read with stories of athletes and the surrounding culture that point to Scripture verses to cement the particular virtue that is being highlighted in the story. The author, Father Nate Wills, has a way of emotionally placing the reader in the setting of the stories. It has universal messages , not only for Catholics or Notre Dame football fans!
