How do I calculate sales tax?

Ave Maria Press is exempt from collecting sales tax. Your state may require you to remit a “use” tax on your purchase.


How do I change or cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel your order please contact the Sales Department via email within one business day of placing your order. After the next business day, your order will have been shipped as placed.


If I do not have a credit card can I still place an order online?

We offer billing terms for established accounts. Enter your customer account number and password at our homepage to place an order without prepayment. New users need to contact Customer Service by phone, fax or email to create an account and password.

What is a Promo Code?

A Promo Code is an alphanumeric code that appears on a catalog or flyer, or can be printed near your name and address and is used to track promotions and interest, and may entitle you to special discount pricing or other offers. Information collected from these codes assists us in planning future promotions. (When entering a Promo Code, keep in mind that 0 = zero and the 1 = one.)


Can I place an order online without a Promo Code?

If you are not currently receiving our catalogs or flyers and do not have a Promo Code, you may leave this field blank and proceed with your order.

What if I receive damaged or defective books?

Claims for defective or damaged products must be made within 14 days of the receipt of your shipment. Please inspect the books and cartons carefully upon receipt. Should you notice damage, please report to us at (800) 282-1865, ext. 1, to arrange for replacement copies and instructions on how to return the damaged product for credit.
